Nuri Arslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nazilli Chamber of Commerce (NTO), paid a series of official visits in Ankara as part of the Chamber’s efforts to implement projects that will contribute to the development and prosperity of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his visit, Mr. Arslan met with M. Rifat Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131o\u011flu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of T\u00fcrkiye (TOBB), at the TOBB Headquarters. He also visited Hasan Fehmi Bozkurt, Deputy Director General of National Real Estate at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and O\u011fuzhan Yaylac\u0131, Director General of Real Estate and Resource Development at the Presidency of Urban Transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his meeting with Mr. Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131o\u011flu, Mr. Arslan provided detailed information about the ongoing projects and activities carried out by the Nazilli Chamber of Commerce and exchanged views on short- and medium-term initiatives that could further support regional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting with Deputy Director General Hasan Fehmi Bozkurt focused on accelerating the implementation of the Nazilli Chamber of Commerce Long Life Village Project and discussing the necessary procedures to move the project into its investment phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his visit to Director General O\u011fuzhan Yaylac\u0131, Mr. Arslan exchanged views on the NTO S\u00fcmerbank Project as well as other development initiatives that could be undertaken in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131o\u011flu stated that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of T\u00fcrkiye is committed to addressing every issue brought forward by its member chambers within its authority and available resources. He also noted that certain matters require legislative amendments and therefore take time to resolve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131o\u011flu emphasized that the Nazilli Chamber of Commerce has established itself as a chamber that continuously develops projects and provides innovative services. He described the region as fortunate to have such a proactive institution and reaffirmed TOBB’s commitment to supporting the Chamber’s initiatives and maintaining close cooperation on the issues raised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the meetings, NTO Chairman Nuri Arslan stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are always pleased to be at the headquarters of our umbrella organization, TOBB\u2014our home in Ankara. We visited our President not only to pay our respects but also to share detailed information about the projects and activities carried out by our Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I presented comprehensive information on our Nazilli Long Life Village Project, our efforts to bring the historic Nazilli S\u00fcmerbank Factory Site back into the economy, and our other ongoing initiatives, while also benefiting from Mr. Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131o\u011flu’s valuable opinions and guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Long Life Village Project is currently the only regional development project in our area being implemented by public institutions, excluding private sector investments. Experts consider it a high-value initiative that will significantly contribute to the promotion and marketing of local products while creating substantial added value for the regional economy. We believe this project can serve as a model not only for our region but also for other tourism destinations across T\u00fcrkiye. As such, supporting the project is clearly in the public interest. Nevertheless, there are certain legal and regulatory issues concerning land allocation that need to be addressed, and I conveyed these matters to Deputy Director General Mr. Bozkurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our region also has a significant need for a modern exhibition and fairground. We believe that the currently idle sections of the former Nazilli S\u00fcmerbank Textile Factory could be effectively utilized for this purpose. Furthermore, parts of the factory complex could be transformed into an Industrial Museum, local products exhibition and sales areas, and other facilities that would contribute to regional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I presented our projects in detail to both Mr. Bozkurt and Mr. Yaylac\u0131 and requested their opinions and support for these initiatives, which we consider essential for the future development of our region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I firmly believe that these efforts will produce positive results. We look forward to the continued support of all relevant institutions and stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
