MEMBERS OF OUR CHAMBER VISITED IZMIR MARBLE AND NATURAL STONE FAIR

Many local and foreign mining companies participated in the fair, which is the largest organization of the country in the marble sector

Organized for the 25th time this year, MARBLE İzmir Fair was held on an area of 150 thousand square meters, and nearly 1,100 companies, 209 of which were foreign, participated. The interest in the fair, which has become a body show of the natural stone industry, was once again great. Many bilateral meetings were held at the fair, which brought together manufacturers, suppliers and consumers in the marble sector.

Our President of the Board of Directors Nuri ARSLAN made a statement on the subject; Since 2013, when we took office, we regularly visit this fair every year and ensure the participation of our members. Our Chamber members Demirağlar Mermer Ltd.Şti and Naz-Ar Pompa Ltd.Şti. ,makes us proud to see our companies that have accepted their brands abroad. Mineral exports in Turkey is forced to 5 billion level. Our actual mineral exports are around 4.7 billion, and almost half of this export is met by the natural stone sector alone. As a result; Sales are realized as processed products and blocks in marble. It is said by the authorities that the processed product trade in our country is at the level of 1 billion dollars. Given that global trade is $ 4 billion of the world’s marble importance of natural stone and marble sector in Turkey will emerge once again.

We can say that the fair was very satisfying and positive for both exhibitors and visitors and consumers. I think we meet the expectations of our members. – he said.
