We Have Asked For Rental Support For Firms Whose Activities Have Been Forced To Stop

A meeting was held with 365 Chamber/Stock Exchange Presidents and 61 sector Assembly presidents with the participation of Trade Minister Ruhsar PEKCAN and Rifat Hisarciklioglu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.

Nuri Arslan, President of Nazilli Chamber of Commerce, attended the meeting held with the Webinar System. He voiced his request for “Rent Benefit” for members who are aggrieved because their workplaces are closed within the scope of the Circular of the Ministry of İnternal Affairs.

Mr. Arslan: “There are many workplaces that have been closed by necessity within the scope of the corona virus, and we continuously convey the suggestions from our victimized members to key decision makers within our powers. Continuation Loan, Life Water Loan and Breath Loan were among our requests and as a result of the negotiations, our loan requests were implemented and our members started to benefit. İn this way, İ think we support our members a bit. İn addition, we conveyed Rent Assistance support, which is one of our requests, to Mrs. Pekcan. Many of our members are in a difficult situation because their workplaces are closed. Businesses that are open continue with low profit margins. İts incomes cannot cover its expenses. We reiterated our request for support, especially to our members whose workplace is closed within the scope of the Circular. After this support for a certain period of time, our members will provide financial relief. The year 2020 started as a socio-economically difficult year. This recent global crisis has also adversely affected the commercial capacity of companies in our region. As Nazilli Chamber of Commerce, our aim is for our members to overcome this difficult process with the least damage ”.
